Gay Marriage

Gay Marriage
Category: News and Politics

So, as California Bans Gay marriage, I think, Wow.

California being a pretty liberal place in the United States I am a bit shocked, but shouldn't be.
Let's think about THIS: America is generally a Christian nation. Now if most citizens claim to be Christian why was this even as close as it was? How did 4 million+ people vote FOR Gay Marriage to pass and stay legal? How?IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN you know that marriage is between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN. Is it unclear? Not really. It is pretty plain and simple. SO HOW CHRISTIAN IS THIS NATION? How Christian ARE these Self-Proclaimed Christians?
Personally, I am not a Christian. Once was, but with so much I've seen, it is hard to believe. Yes, I believe a man named Jesus Christ existed, yes he was Jewish, No he is not the son of an invisible man. No his mother was not a virgin, blah blah, lets just say, I am not a Christian.
My view on Gay Marriage - I could care less. I don't support Gay Marriage, but at the same time, I don't object to it.It has no effect on me as an American. If that is what they want then all the better in their strive for in.Would I vote for or against a ban? No, I would abstain from the vote.

For a Christian to Support Gay marriage, by their religion, it would be a sin in itself to support such a grave sin. So, I am baffled that this didn't get swept away. Or maybe the statistics are wrong and this is a mostly agnostic/atheist nation now?

If there is any Christian out there reading this, let me know how you don't consider it a sin to support Gay Marriage.
